The unknown power of the mandala
Many of us remember from our childhood colouring in mandalas or we look at our own children who get completely absorbed filling in the different patterns with different colours. But Mandalas were not made to entertain and keep children occupied. Its origins trace back to the Asian realm 25000 years ago and it is especially in the Buddhist and Hindu religions an integral part of meditative rituals.
But what happens with us during colouring in mandalas? – There are several good reasons to pick up some colours more often.
Colouring in mandalas is especially a nice activity for the cold season, when we prefer staying inside our houses. Thus, gather your family more often to paint some mandalas. It is a nice activity with many benefits for everyone and you can adapt the difficulty and complexity of patterns to whomever is joining.
So, try it out with our template and one last tip: It is best to work your way from the inside to the outside.
